In general, Pilates
is strength and endurance training for the muscles that support and control
your spine. Reinforcing the mind-body connection through smooth, controlled
movement, Pilates enables you to become more aware of your body and realise its
potential to improve your quality of life.
There are no “right” or “wrong” ways of moving – only ways which can be either
beneficial or detrimental to your wellbeing. The first step to transforming
your movement patterns is to become aware of them; listen to your body – it
will tell you what you need!
