Yoga with Lena

Wednesday 20.15 - 21.15

Lena undertook her yoga teacher training (RYT200) with Rainbowlight Yoga School and had one-to-one training with Mrs. Sunshine Ross. Within a class, the poses work by opening the chakras, one by one, from mulladhara to sahasrara, i.e. lower to higher. The aim is to stretch, twist and shake each chakra point to allow the energy to flow through the central channel by straightening the left and right channels that choke the central one.

Lena's classes always begin with pranayama (breathing), followed by some mindful thoughts of the week and then a dedication before the physical yoga begins.
