for over 25 years with pregnant women, infants and parents in educational and NHS settings and in independent practice. She has held senior Professional Head posts in NHS Psychology Services, including Head of Child & Family Services; Head of Specialist Psychotherapy Service; and Clinical Lead Perinatal Service.
What is unique about Ali Knights and Baby-Science is the extensive training and experience in perinatal and child psychology, and psychoanalytic psychotherapy that underpins the services provided. Working not only with mums experiencing pre and post natal anxiety and depression, Ali is also a developmental and child psychologist trained in newborn babies. Her approach therefore keeps you and your baby in mind, identifying and addressing issues from both perspectives, so you get an individual solution tailored to suit you and your baby or young child’s unique strengths and needs.
