Anne Young

Anne has been a practicing complementary therapist and baby massage instructor for several years. She is a mum to two daughters.

Having personally experienced the benefits of complementary therapies she was inspired to learn more about them and to undertake professional training in order to provide these services to others.

Since obtaining her BSc in Complementary Therapies she has practiced various therapies and in recent years has developed special interests in fertility, pregnancy, babies and children. She offers support to couples trying to conceive and women through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.

In addition to the regular baby massage classes that Anne has run in Edinburgh for many years she also offers one-to-one sessions in the comfort of the parents/carers home. Her experience includes supporting parents who have babies and children with special needs.

Anne presents aromatherapy and reflexology workshops in which she teaches parents how to use these therapies safely at home to support their child’s health.

She qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1986 and has always had a passion to help people to achieve their own optimum health and wellbeing.
