Fiona Gilbraith

Fiona Gilbraith CST-D MCSS qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1985 and worked in the NHS for 13 years. During this time she also studied for and graduated with a BSc(Hons) in Health Studies.

In 1998 she left her NHS job to focus full-time on her practice as a CranioSacral Therapist. Since then, she has undergone a continuous programme of personal and professional development, mainly through the Upledger Institute, for whom she is now a certified instructor in the UK. She also runs an Upledger Study Group for practitioners in Scotland, and is an official Mentor for other Upledger therapists. She has also studied with Jean-Pierre Barral, developer of Visceral Manipulation.

Fiona works with clients of all ages, from new born to the elderly. She is passionate about treating the whole person and finding the origin of an issue in the body, rather than treating symptoms. Fiona believes that the body has a natural tendency towards self-correction and healing, given the right conditions.
