Life Coaching

The International Coaching Federation’s description of coaching is: “A partnership with clients in a
thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and
professional potential. Throughout this process clients deepen their learning, improve their
performance and enhance their quality of life.” Audrey set up Summit Life Coaching Ltd in 2013
after being trained to a high standard by an ICF provider. Sessions comply with the ICF ’s
approach, ethics and standards.
Your transformational journey has a structured process. It starts by identifying the changes you
want to make and setting a powerful positive goal or two. We look at your life in a holistic way and
your own definition of “success”. The aim is to stretch to achieve your ambition or move out of a
rut. In the second we look at what you need to do to succeed! The process helps you recognise
your strengths, your learning stye and identify what else you need to accomplish your goal/s. You
may learn why old habits hold you back. The remaining sessions are set to coincide with your
individual requirements. You keep a reflective journal and write a positive affirmation for the final
session. Clients generally report their learnings can be applied to future situations and in this way
they become their own coach.
In addition, Audrey has been trained by John Grinder, the exceptional Californian Co-founder of
neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) to practitioner level in Classic and his New-Code activities.
This is an excellent additional tool for helping clients gain insight and initiate rapid change. NLP
came from the study of exemplars, language and behaviour.
Audrey has success in helping clients go further in their career, set-up in business, and move to
pastures new. Others have turned their lives into more satisfying ones e.g. after relationship
break-down, retirement and “empty-nest syndrome". Health, well-being and personal growth goals
are also popular. Audrey is a retired NHS speech and language therapist so when required e.g.
preparing a client for a job interview, Audrey incorporates these skills. She practises hypnotherapy
at Mulberry House also. Life-coaching, NLP and hypnotherapy skills overlap.
