We are excited to announce the return of Cáitlin Heavey who has taught her Yogabirth classes and courses at Mulberry House over the past 20 years.  Following a 2 year break, she is returning to teach her popular Yogabirth classes, a new yoga class for weary mums and a new Yogabirth short course.  Here’s all you need to know on the course and classes… 

Why Yogabirth Classes?

More than just yoga for pregnancy class, Cáitlin’s best-loved Yogabirth class returns to guide you through your pregnancy from 14 weeks up until the birth of your baby. Combining yoga, mindfulness, pregnancy information and techniques to help you to relax, feel strong and grow in confidence.  The classes will also give you the opportunity to find support and friendship with like-minded women.

Yogabirth classes are booked in blocks of 8 classes, allowing you to join at any time. Price
£112, Tuesdays 5.45pm – 7.15pm. 

The Essential Yogabirth Course

Cáitlin brings over 25 years of experience as a Yogabirth teacher and doula to this unique active birth preparation course designed for you and your birth partner.

The course ~ 
4 Sessions
Three Friday evening yoga sessions (woman only), plus a Saturday morning session, to include your birth partner.  

Evening sessions:
Explore specific yoga positions for labour and birth, getting to know and affect the position of your baby, breathing, visualisation and calming techniques for labour and will help to approach the birth of your baby positively and with confidence.

Morning session
Focuses on the role of your birth partner and will teach them how to get positively involved; how to support you through all the techniques that you have learned in our evening sessions by using massage, encouraging effective birth positions and calm guidance techniques.  It is an ideal birth preparation from 34 weeks of pregnancy.   

Three Friday evenings ~ 18.00-19.15
+ Saturday morning ~ 10.00am – 1pm

Price: £150 per couple.

Mothering the Mother - yoga for weary mothers.

Cáitlin has designed this yoga course by popular request, for all those who enjoyed her Yogabirth classes during pregnancy ( and for those who missed out!). These classes focus on recovering your strength and making time to relax during the challenging first few years of motherhood but most importantly this is ‘ Me time’; a class just for you.  Tuesdays @ 19.30-20.30 costing £66 for a 6-week term.
