I began my training in loss and bereavement counselling several years ago. I then went on to gain a Postgraduate Diploma in counselling at the University of Edinburgh, as well as achieving a Masters in Counselling, where I explored my relationship with intuition in my practice.

Through my own process of therapy, I learned the importance of making meaning of my experiences, and of listening to my inner world. This process has helped me to embrace my life and work towards realising my full potential.

In my experience, there are always times in life when we need a safe place to look at all of ourselves more deeply and understand our experiences more fully, so we can resolve difficulties in the present, as well as from the past.

I work from a person-centred approach, but draw on perspectives from psychodynamic and transpersonal thinking, giving me a more holistic approach to my practice. I offer my clients an open, warm, non-judgemental, and genuine therapeutic relationship, and an environment where one can begin a process of healing.

I have experience working with all ages, including young people, and in long term and short term contracts, in all areas of counselling. I have also worked in a university setting so have extensive experience working with students.

I am available for daytime and evening appointments.
