Yoga for Every Body, 5-week course
Despite what social media may have led us to believe, Yoga is for everyone. No matter how flexible or inflexible you are, you can experience the numerous benefits of Yoga, regardless of age, body type or fitness level.
In this course attention will be given to balance, alignment, strengthening of the body and breath awareness. You will learn to create a strong base as you work through some basic poses, and explore modifications to support your unique body. It will give you grounding in some of the key yoga postures and help you to understand alignment, benefits and contraindications. We will also look at breathing practices and discover their numerous benefits. There will be sufficient time for individual attention. This course is suitable for beginners and those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice.
