Sports Massage Therapist 

Aileen is a Massage Therapist who specialises in sports and remedial massage therapy, Her goal is to help her patients move better and feel better whether they are sporty, or not.

Aileen uses specific massage techniques and skills tailored to what your body needs to help improve your well-being and to alleviate your bodies stress or pain. Her aim is to give you the best treatment so you feel the benefit of your treatment straight away. She believes that a regular Massage will result in improved circulatory, lymphatic and neurological functioning of the body. 

Aileen has completed her massage training in Edinburgh through Queen Margaret University in 2016. Since qualifying, Aileen continues to increase and advance her knowledge through Continues Professional Development (CPD) including Myofascial Release and Hot & Cold Massage. 

Aileen has also volunteered at the Scottish National Run providing Pre & Post-event massage for the runners which is very beneficial in improving their performances before the run and optimising their recovery after their run. 

In addition, Aileen is also a qualified Personal Trainer which helped her become a better therapist by allowing her to see first-hand the type of injuries and strains that come from sport and exercise. She believes that making your body stronger and also maintaining a healthy body is very important for longevity, in sport, and in daily life.
